This store has the highest markups because they have the highest overhead costs. Secret #2 There are compatible brand cartridges that cost a lot less and that will work just as well as the OEM brand. Some office supply stores have wised up and created their own brand of compatible cartridge. But, if they do not have the cartridge in stock then you can bet that your office supply store sales rep is not going to tell you about how you can save a ton of money by going with a compatible cartridge.
